Olive Ridge Campground. July 28, 2016. Olive Ridge Campground is about 15 miles/30 minutes south of Estes Park on Hwy 7, at an elevation of 8,350 feet. It is adjacent to the Wild Basin area of Rocky Mountain National Park, which offers numerous and varied hiking options. The campground is well forested with pine and aspen trees Olive Ridge is near the southeastern corner of Rocky Mountain National Park, so offers nearby access to hiking trails in the Wild Basin area of the National Park. Olive Ridge is normally full for the weekend by Friday morning so plan to arrive early or consider making a reservation. Fees: Campsite fees are $17 per night. Oversized sites are $20. Most of these photos are within the Rocky Mountain National Park. Photos with the camper are slightly outside the park at Olive Ridge Campground. The camper has solar power electrical, a bed, storage, awning, and even a portable movie projector which can be projected on the side or inside wall
